What I’m Traveling With [Montigo Resorts, Batam]

DSC_4275Never forget your greens! ( •ॢ◡-ॢ)-

Although Batam is just 45 minutes away, staying at Montigo was lovely. I couldn’t bring myself to travel light. Why waste the space of a luxurious villa? Extreme different experience from a shoebox hotel room I’m used to bunking at. °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Montigo was indeed grand. Thus the things that travelled with me had to complement the experience of my stay.

Here is my list of trusty companions.

Thanks to my dear friends at Belif, I was introduced to a new range of gentle, calming skincare products. I love how each item has its own calming scent. Will elaborate on my favourites later.

DSC_4848Belif’s Hungarian Water Essence, Aqua Bomb (moisturiser), and Peat Miracle Revital Eye Cream.

Travel-sized babies. They make traveling life a whole lot easier! ლ(╹◡╹ლ)

This was my first time trying Bioderma’s makeup remover. The generous Dr Tam of EHA passed me this sample to try out removing makeup with micellar water for a change. But instead of trying it out, I put it aside for my next getaway since it’s so small and handy. Hahaha!

I have tried another brand of micellar water since but I personally think milk cleansers are the best. Although… unlike micellar water, milk cleaners aren’t made to remove eye makeup as well. Hence, this is a convenient travel option.

In general, I have sensitive eyes. So the micellar water solution from the other brand stings, but luckily, Bioderma was very gentle!

Epiduo by Galderma is a new pimple gel I bought from EHA. I love trying out certain skincare products like toners, acne creams and eye creams. I’m a fan of Galderma’s Differin gel, so I was more than happy to give Epiduo a try. 。◕‿◕。 Plus I trust Dr Tam’s recommendations.

I seldom – or very hesitantly – take the risk with moisturising products i.e. serums, emulsions, day/night creams and sunscreens. So imagine how excited I was when Belif sent me their powder sunscreen!!! “ヽ(´▽`)ノ”

It’s very hard for me to find a suitable sunscreen. Sometimes when I think I have found the right one, it’s either not working as hard as I thought it’d be (so I’m just slapping a useless solution on), or it starts clogging my pores after awhile. Zzzzz…! ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

But now with Almighty Sun Powder, so far so good.  *(*´∀`*)☆ Just keeping my fingers crossed… Love the texture too.

I had my reservations as powder sunscreens are rare. Never heard of such a product that became a hit in the market before right? It turned out to be decent. More updates as I go along using it.

Other favourites from Belif

#1 Belif favourite.

DSC_4273The combination skin toner aka Bergamot Herbal Extract toner.

#2 Belif favourite.

DSC_4261Like the Babylon Candle in Stardust, the Good Night Vintage Candle transports you right into dreamland.

Not a skincare product, but just like any other Belif product, this scented candle is extremely relaxing, if not more.

It contains my favourite lemon and citrus scents… Perfect for a quiet bath time.

DSC_4854The bathroom is superbly decadent! Can’t wait to give you a tour!

That’s all for my skincare stash… What about makeup? [WHAT? YOU MEAN YOU’RE NOT DONE?]

Heh yeah… Promise I will keep it short! Just pictures!

I do have a lot of makeup… Hmmm… Shall I do a giveaway? Drop me a comment!

And most of all, my babies I can’t travel without!
